Publishing and sharing with iPads...
One of my technology collaboration projects recently came to fruition - Mrs. Salzman's second grade students have successfully written and published their own legends using a variety of technology tools. The resulting iBooks have been shared with the authors' families, and with fellow students at Half Day School using Edmodo.
To the right are some examples of the students' finished creations. Reading below, you'll find some important background information about the project: common core objectives, NETS-S standards, and iPad workflow information.
Hover your mouse pointer over these interactive "ThingLinks" to explore some of our legends, and to find out more about the many different ways technology was used to augment and redefine the publishing process.
These are instructional videos to help you see the wonderful creations Mrs. Salzman's class made on their iPads this fall. Of course, everybody's computer setup is different, so this may or may not work for you. If you are still having difficulties, I'd be happy to help you. Send me an e-mail explaining the problem, and tell me a little about your computer set up. Good luck, and enjoy the Legends!

I'll use this blog to share examples of technology integration in the classroom. If you have a lesson that you would like to showcase, I'd be very happy to help you share it with the rest of the world!
